Thy Word is true from the beginning - the place of beginning, Alpha is found in God alone; 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.' 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.' We see by these verses the universal truth that God's Word has been since the beginning. God has no beginnning, and the Word has been there along with Him. The Word is eternal; it is everlasting; it is the attribute, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
We see the truth that God's Word has always been, because it is proceeds from Him, Who has always been. We may also say, that as we hold our bibles that God's Word is true from the beginning of Genesis complete through Revelation. Genesis means beginning and the Word is true from the beginning of the Book to the end. There is no lie in it, for God cannot lie. To say that there is a lie in His Word would mean that God is not truth. Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth and the life.' There are many attributes that may describe it. Itis power, it is light, it is life, it is revealing, it is joyous, it is instructive; all these things are clear and precious to the child of God who loves the Word. But if it be not truth, all these things are null and void to the soul seeking absolute truth.
