An heiress to the Cadbury chocolate fortune, Alexander attended university and studied music and language in Germany. In July 1904, she married Charles M. Alexander, a song leader for evangelist Ruben Torrey. Charles Alexander died in 1920, and she married Amsji C. Dixon in 1924. Her works include:
