Many people believe in luck and chance. Some of them believe so probably because they experienced or know someone who experienced something that cannot be explained other than it is luck. When seen on the surface level, it does seem that luck exists.
However, as far as God and the Bible is concerned, everything that happens to anyone are already known to Him. Scriptures teach humans not to believe in luck because it is arbitrary and unpredictable. On the other hand, God is unchanging, and always has His character.
For Christians, believing in luck should be a no-no. Not only does it move away our faith from God, it also makes us believe that there are events in our life that God has no control of. That is simply untrue. His word says everything works out for our own good.
