If you were to read a science book, the book’s writers would try their best to persuade you into believing what they currently hold on to. The same thing goes for the Bible – it shows its readers that God, who created everything, is trustworthy and deserving of everyone’s trust.

The book of Proverbs and Psalms contain the most notable verses about trusting God. The Scripture encourages its readers not to trust their instincts, emotions and even their own understanding. Instead, they should place their full, 100 percent faith in God.

Trusting God should be a priority for Christians, not only during times of blessing, but more especially in troublesome seasons. It is one thing to seek God’s help, and it is another to rely on His promises and wait for His answers.
