Paul's prayer for the Corinthians was not that he would be vindicated, but that they would reject evil, pursue what is honorable, and grow into mature believers who reflect Christ. By abandoning false teaching, selfish ambition, and division, they could bear the fruit of genuine faith, walk worthy of their calling, and experience the unity and peace God desires for His church.
