In John 14, Jesus makes one of his clearest declarations: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” This is not just comfort for the disciples before his death. It is a claim about who he is. Jesus is saying he is the fulfillment of God’s rescue plan, the way back to relationship with God, and the foundation for truth and life itself. His death is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of something new.
