The life we are called to live in Christ is not one that will occur naturally to us. It is a gift of grace and requires a conscious decision “training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age” (Titus 2:12). As fellow recipients of his grace, we unabashedly encourage each other to the pattern of life he has called us to.

1. Grace has appeared (v. 11)
2. Train accordingly (vs. 12-13)
a. Renounce sin (v. 12a)
b. Live righteously (v. 12b)
c. With joy (vs. 12c-13)
3. Always remember (v. 14)
4. Speak truth (v. 15)
