The legacy that my parents passed on to me was to love the Bible as the word of God. They instilled in me the importance of reading it everyday. I missed something huge. I read the Bible for the sake of reading, it was an item to check off my list in order to feel good about my walk with God. This resulted in me eventually living a life of sin and almost destroying my family and my life. 

God is a good father and he runs after his children and he did that for me. 

As I healed and walked closely with the Lord I learned how to meditate on the Bible and how to start living it out each day. The Bible went from something I just read to something that I let wash over me, change me and frankly I started living it. 

This has made all the difference. This channel is about encouraging you to not just read the Bible but to move you and me to live the Bible. Please comment, like and share so that others can be encouraged to not just hear the Bible but to live it.

This is a meditation on Psalm 87:7. As I work through things in my own life I realize that I often don’t let the truth from God’s word go from my head to my heart. Over the last few days the Lord has helped me take some step to move the truth from my head to my heart. I am thankful for the things that I learned from Richard Foster’s book, Prayer.
