YHVH (“YeHoVaH”) is the name of God the Father in Hebrew ("Jehovah" in English).  This ministry is called “The Sword of YHVH” because the Word of God is likened unto a Sword, and the theme of this channel is taken from Ephesians 6:17, which reads:

“Take the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God."

The purpose of The Sword of YHVH Ministries is to raise up faithful disciples of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) by teaching and preaching the true doctrines of YeHoVaH God the Father as found in the Bible.  My mission is to arm you and your children with the Lord’s most powerful weapon:  HIS WORD / HIS SWORD.  Properly armed with the Sword of the Spirit, you and your children will be able to do battle against the darkest and most insidious lies and temptations of Satan and come off triumphant through faith in Yeshua our Lord.

ALL DEVOTIONALS LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES LONG. The Creator made the heavens and the earth and entered His creation to solve the sin problem and give hope. Jesus died on the cross to transform all who are willing. The Scriptures are an unfailing guide for living a rational and joy-filled life of selfless goodness toward all. Your Father in heaven desires to give you the kingdom! Many have rejected a caricature of Christianity. And yet, the existence of significant caricatures points to an authentic original. There is a path of hope and an abundant life. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." You long for something more. You can have it beginning today. You can receive all, but you must give all. Many are not ready to give all. My desire is that this channel will help people taste and see that the Lord is good.

How bad is sin? While many look at sin as something trivial and light, God does not. We have asked the Lord to establish a strong gospel-preaching church in this influential city and we believe He is honouring that request. Pray with us that God would give us favour as we seek to glorify and promote His name  in Oxford. Our desire is that the Chapel would always remain a pioneering work as there are always more souls to be reached! May many other churches be planted and strengthened through the influence of Oxford Baptist Chapel.
