A Spirit of Unbelief, Numbers 18:25-26 and 28

The East End Church of Christ, is a local congregation of Christians meeting in the northeast section of the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and that you can only be saved by God's grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).  Living faith is a faith that obeys God's commands.  To become a Christian, one must believe in Jesus Christ, and his death burial and resurrection, repent of their sins, confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and be baptized (immersed in water) for the remission of sins.  Following baptism, one must remain faithful unto death in order to receive the eternal reward of Heaven (Revelation 2:10).  The church here at East End does not have any of its own creeds, we seek to only follow the Bible.  All visitors are welcome to attend any of our services.

Every firstborn born of Israel was devoted to God, and holy in His sight. This was based on the story of the Exodus and the Passover of God from killing the firstborn in Egypt. However, only the firstborn among the males needed to be redeemed. How much was the redemption price, and what was it used for? In Lesson 72 of our study of Numbers we learn the answer to this question.

The priests were not going to be given any land in Canaan as an inheritance. That meant that they'd have no land to farm, and no land to pass down to their children. In that time, not having an inheritance could mean poverty. But God was going to provide for them through the offerings of the children of Israel. What offerings were given to support the priests? In Lesson 71 of our study of Numbers we learn the answer to this question.

What Were the Tithes of the Levites? [Numbers 18:25-32][Lesson 74][WTTB]
