Grace Life Bible Church is unique from other churches because we believe that you can understand the Bible for yourself and that we can show you how.  The Bible can be an imposing book for many people due its sheer size and diverse literary styles, however, when the Bible is approached and studied the way God Himself says it ought to be in His word, all of sudden the Bible makes sense.  Rather than a book of contradictions, the Scriptures become a seamless story detailing Gods plan and purpose for the universe that He created for himself and our involvement in His plan.  

Instead of joining the skeptics, or running for the nearest church exit, consider what Paul writes in 2 Timothy 2:15.  He states, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  Did you notice what God just did?  He acknowledged that the Bible does say different things in different places and therefore needs to be divided rightly.  Simply stated, when we recognize and acknowledge the divisions God himself placed in His word not only can we understand it for ourselves but we also have his approval.  What a great deal!!!  

Real Answers for Real Life is the slogan we have adopted at Grace Life Bible Church because we sincerely believe that right division of Gods word provides the answers to peoples spiritual struggles.  Have you ever struggled with any of the following questions:

Just a wretched sinner saved by God's sovereign grace...

Former Roman Catholic of 24 years and King-James-Only (New) independent fundamentalist Baptist of four years. Finally, over the year 2019, God destroyed me for my pride, sins and heresy (especially committed as a born again child of God during my time in the NewIFB), and demonstrated to me to be a true Almighty Sovereign Lord over all, who does whatever He pleases, and that I am nothing.

Although King James Onlyists and use Ps 12:6-7 as the proof text of God preserving the text of Scripture in none other than the English translation thereof, namely the Authorized Version, the text in fact does not speak about preserving Scripture at all - much less the venerable AV. The surrounding context defines what the words of Yahweh are, and what is the object of His preservation.

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety h from him that puffeth at him. [6] The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [7] Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

A Song of Help 
Psalm 12:1-8 
 
I. THE SOBER NATURE OF THE PSALM 
 
A. The Subtitle 
 
1. Sheminith is contrasted with Alamoth in 1 Chronicles 15:20-21 and seems to mean low notes for the male singers. 
2. The only other psalm using this term is Psalm 6, which also contains a very sober message. The only psalm using the term Alamoth is Psalm 46, and it is a psalm of rejoicing. 
 
B. The Opening Word 
 
1. Only three verses in the entire Bible, all of which are in the Book of Psalms, begin with the word help. 
2. This is the only chapter or psalm that begins with the word help. 
 
II. THE PLEA FOR GOD’S HELP (Psalm 12:1-2)
