The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. (II Corinthians 10:4-6)
We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. I have written previously concerning the battle for the mind. To make every thought obedient to Christ is a continual struggle. Please check the Kindle Library
I have been preaching a great deal about the problem of fretting, and how we must overcome it if we do not want to be torn down from our high place in Christ. I have stated that the moral darkness is going to increase, and we must prepare for it by living by the Life of Christ.
The Bible commands us to not fret:
Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. (Psalms 37:1,2)
If Satan cannot get us to do evil, he can conquer us by having us fret about the evil. Fretting occurs when we complain about the works of Satan but can do nothing about it. It prevents us from obeying the commandment to rejoice in the Lord always.,
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
I will tell you this: Christ is a king. He is a jealous king. His name is Jealous. When he sees us paying attention to Satan or to Antichrist He becomes jealous.
The King's attitude then is, "If you desire to give glory to Satan and marvel at his works in the earth, then go ahead. You will suffer for it.
