When talking about acceptance with the Lord, the first thing that comes to mind is the acceptance of Jesus as our personal savior. When we accept Him into our lives, we are forgiven for our sins and given eternal life. This is the ultimate act of acceptance by God.
However, there is more to acceptance with the Lord than just being saved. We are also to accept Him as our guide, our provider and our protector. We should accept His will for our lives and submit to Him completely. This can be a difficult thing to do, but it is through this type of submission that we can find true peace and happiness.

1 Samuel 16:7 NIV

People easily judge someone else based on appearances. We treat others unfairly depending on our perception of them. Unlike us, God doesn’t look at external appearances. The Lord doesn’t care about someone’s facial features, their weight, their height. He only cares about a person’s heart. It shows that God is willing to forgive anyone no matter what they have done.
Romans 15:7 NIV
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
We should not view anyone as beneath us or unworthy of our time and attention. Instead, we should accept people for who they are and treat them with the same kindness.
