Even if you’ve read so many books in your life, there are certain things that you can only recall. It’s the same with the Bible. While you read and learn about the Word of God, there are specific scriptures that will definitely stick and make an impact on your heart. If you already have your list of life-changing Bible verses but also want to know the verses that really made an impact to others, here’s a list.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

This bible verse is short and sweet. Composed of only one sentence with 10 words, this verse is one of the most life-changing Bible verses for Christians. The message is simple. As long as you believe in God, anything is possible. You can do everything, no matter how tough things get, because God will always give you the strength to go on. This verse is always a good reminder that God is the ultimate source of strength.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

There are plenty of moments in life when we cannot comprehend what’s going on or even understand why we’re suffering. There are days when we feel lost and don’t know where we’re headed. This verse from Proverbs will remind you that no matter how rough the road gets, all you have to do is put your 100 percent trust in the Lord. Trust ins His plans and He will lead you to the right path.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not want.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul;He leads me in the paths of righteousnessFor His name’s sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil; For You are with me;Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil;My cup runs over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow meAll the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LordForever.

Psalm 23 has been a significant scripture for many Christians. I also learned this when I was a child, but I only memorized it for the sake of memorizing it. When I got older, I finally understood what it truly meant. Basically, it says that God is our Father and He will always take care of us. You must not fear anything because our Father will always protect us. If you know this in your heart, then you can truly live a beautiful life with Christ.

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

This verse is very important for one important reason. It is vital that you acknowledge the sacrifice of God when Jesus was crucified to save mankind. The sacrifice showed the immense love God has for each and every one of us. This love is bounded by faith. Even if its intangible, if you have faith in the Lord, you will feel His love in everything you see and do.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

One of my most favorite verses of all time. This verse reminds us of how we should act for the Lord lives inside of us. It’s life-changing in a way because it affects how you act towards other people. When someone really provokes you, but you believe that you must embody these qualities, it will teach you to practice self-control and patience. Simply put, when you have this verse in your heart and mind, you will have more will to put these qualities into practice.

Did you find your life-changing Bible verse here? If not, aren’t these scriptures a good way to remind you of what your walk with God should be like? We can learn so many things from the Bible as it is filled with lessons here and there. The best thing about the Bible is that even if this is a book written centuries ago, it still contains stories that we can all relate to and appy to your life.
