Lately my prayers before the Lord have been laced with many tears.
Tears which fall from so much unresolved turmoil, unrest and evil in our world.I, as well as countless other people are crying out, “Help us Lord! Only You can fix this mess!”
While we stand and believe for God to intervene, there are those who want evil to prevail. They want nothing more than to have darkness overcome the world.
But, as God’s Word promises, their days are numbered.
Psalm 1:6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
As challenging as it feels right now, God needs us to hold on to faith in His ability to conquer the wicked.
Keep on believing, keep on praying, keep on standing.
Our minds may echo the thoughts, “Nothing is happening!” But, take comfort in the fact that God is continually working all things out for our good.
I have to say these recent times have been a real “nail biter” as the wicked seem to be relentless in their onslaught against God’s people.
But I cleave to the powerful Words of Jesus, when He said,
“I have told you these things so you will have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Blessed assurance that no matter what, God’s got this!
