What is a “true” Christian? Am I a true believer? Christians are the ones who walk the path of Jesus Christ, and God must be the center of Christians’ lives.  We should examine ourselves – the life we live reflects whether we are true or false Christians. We are God’s holy temple and should offer a living sacrifice through our lives.

Do you emit the fragrance of Jesus? May the word of God awaken our spirit and lead us to follow the truth of Christ.

1. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’    – Matthew 7:21-23

2. These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.    – Matthew 15:8

3. The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught    – Isaiah 29:13

4. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.    – Titus 1:16

5. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.    – 1 John 3:6

6. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.    – Romans 16:18

7. Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.    – 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

8. For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.    – 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

9. But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.    – 2 Peter 2:1

10. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.    – Revelation 22:15
