Abraham Wright was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late Rev. and Mrs. Phillip Wright Sr. He is the seventh child born to this union. He is married to Linda Joyce Wright, and the father of two beautiful children Brittney and Abrianna Wright. He is a product of the Mobile County Public School System where he has served as a substitute teacher, Pastor, musician and soloist for many years. He holds a BS and Master's degree from Andersonville University and is presently enrolled in classes at Bishop State and Liberty University. He has also recorded an album entitled "A better Place" and has produced a play entitled "I Forgive. Presently Rev. Wright is a minister in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He is a lover of God and great presenter of the word of God.
Reverend Abraham Wright was a Puritan writer who was presented to the vicarage of Oakham in 1645. He was not inducted, as he refused to take the Covenant. After the Restoration he took possession of the vicarage. He published various books, the best known being a Eulogy of Wentworth, and Five Sermons (1656).
