The CPU instruction set is first summarized by functional group then each instruction is described separately in alphabetical order. The appendix describes the organization of the individual instruction descriptions and the notation used in them (including FPU instructions). It concludes with the CPU instruction formats and opcode encoding tables.

Charles has been married to Hilary since 1980. They have three children: Hannah, Laura and Matthew.

During that period he was also involved in an extensive Conference and Evangelistic ministry in many parts of the world, including Western and Eastern Europe, Africa, India, the Far East, the Middle East, the Caribbean, on numerous occasions in Australia and New Zealand and from Coast to Coast in the USA and Canada. He is the author of six books on discipleship and biblical exposition, and a contributor to several more. Some of his books have been translated into Spanish, Italian, German, French and Hindi.
