Hilarious Generosity. Seems like an odd combination of terms, doesn't it? But when God prompts His people to give, that's how they respond. Look at Israel's response when the Lord asked for contributions to help build the tabernacle. They brought all He requested-gold jewelry of every kink, fine linen-and more (Exoc. 35:21-29). Their response was so overwhelming that Moses told them to stop giving, "for the material they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work" (36:6-7). Now that's hilarious generosity? It's a joy to watch. And an even deeper joy awaits those who practice it.
