A humorous short story based on the Alex Garland novel, The Tesseract. The basic premise is that in order to understand the whole story, the reader must view it broken up into its component parts. The original was about gangsters in Manila. This is about a cat and the people who inhabit its world.
Ordinarily, the author is a writer of thrillers, so this short story is a departure for him. A very big departure. But hey, everybody loves cats - don't they?
David Clarkson was an English ejected minister.
