We are climbing Jacob’s ladder. At the top rung of Jacob’s ladder is a full understanding of the Lord God’s moral Nature and a full embracing of that Nature.
Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed: (Deuteronomy 16:16)
The Festival of Unleavened Bread.
The Festival of Weeks (Pentecost).
The Festival of Tabernacles.
“Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me. ((Exodus 23:14)
“Three times a year all your men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel. (Exodus 34:23)
Someone said recently that nothing is complicated when we understand it thoroughly. This seems true to me. Although the present topic, the third platform of redemption, may seem difficult to grasp to some who are presented with it for the first time, it actually is not that complicated.
I will attempt to make the present Divine intervention simple and straightforward. I am looking to our Lord Jesus to help me to be clear and accurate so as many as possible of the believers will have little or no trouble understanding the climax of the Divine redemption.
To redeem a thing or person is to gain back the item from someone who has gained possession of it or them by a lawful or unlawful means. In the case of the Divine redemption, Satan has stolen from God that which belongs to God. In response, God has put into motion a comprehensive program, including the building of a righteous Kingdom, that will bring back into God’s possession all that has been stolen from Him.
