Vincent demonstrates God's just punishment upon wicked Sodom. He then uses the illustration of the eruption of Mt. Etna in his own day, and tells harrowing stories of how people were overtaken by that natural disaster. And then, last, he shows how insignificant those two things will be compared to the coming judgment upon the impenitent.
