The author has published his articles on the subject "Revival" which he wrote over a period of 15 years in this book in the first nine chapters, Chapters 13 and 21 and articles written by revival preachers like Duncan Campbell, Dr J. Edwin Orr, David Smithers, Evan Roberts, Oswald J. Smith, Del Fehsenfeld, Jr, etc, in the subsequent other Chapters. This book is a collection of the much needed articles on revival, which is the need of the hour for the dying world and for the dead Church. Unless the Church is revived, God cannot reach out to the perishing world. At the end, the author has written a model prayer for revival. The author has published this book on "Revival in the valley" when thousands of people perished in the world due to end-time plagues as revealed in 9th chapter of Revelation. In India, some celebrity evangelists have organized mega-prayer meetings through their Television programs expecting revivals through their organized prayer meetings and messages claiming God had given them such messages to usher in revivals. The author strongly believes that revival will never be birthed through the ministry of any minister of God that has been corrupted by his/her popularity and the Mammon of Unrighteousness. If this is so, then who God is looking for, to herald this revival? Though many of us have not studied the messages of these revival preachers, it is high time we had turned our ears to listen to what the Holy Spirit had revealed to these saints.
