We can learn from them. After all, none of us can perfectly follow rules and we were not made for rules or religion. Christ set us free from mere outward obedience. Rules aren’t the problem. Sin is. We could never be enough, but we are displays of Christ’s grace. Jesus isn’t into fads—He’s into faithfulness. God wants our hearts to be changed, not just the outside.
