Introduction of the Later Solomonic Collection 25:1A group of scholars who served during King Hezekiah’s reign (715-686 B.C.) added more of Solomon’s 3,000 proverbs (1 Kings 4:32) to the former collection (Proverbs 1:1 to Proverbs 22:16).
