Idolatry - Worshipping of idols; frequenting idol festivals; all the rites of Bacchus, Venus, Priapus, etc., which were common among the Gentiles. Witchcraft - Φαρμακεια , from φαρμακον a drug or poison; because in all spells and enchantments, whether true or false, drugs were employed.
