Whom the Lord of hosts bless ; rather, forasmuch as the Lord of hosts hath blessed him . The God-fearing man a blessing wherever he is found. Israel is the type of the God-fearing man, and it is prophesied of Israel, as a nation, that when it is linked in friendly alliance with Egypt and Assyria, its testimony for the true God, and its example of noble living in the fear of God, would make it a blessing in the lands.
