2 Chronicles 28:3 . Burnt his children. In 2 Kings 16:3, it is said he made his son “pass through the fire.” The Hebrew term has a double meaning. Sometimes it implies the burning of children in the arms of Moloch till they were consumed, and so it is explained in Ezekiel 16:20-21.
