And I The person “I” is Isaiah, (not Messiah, as Henderson, Alexander, Cowles, etc.) The prophet, at least, will wait upon the Lord; that is, he who had been seized by “the strong hand,” (Isaiah 8:11,) the mighty inspiring power of Jehovah, and whose will and thought are in complete union with him, “will wait upon”… and… look for him.
