7, 8. Before this, depravity had involved hands, fingers, lips, tongue; now the feet are added. Make haste Running and making “haste” to do evil. To indicate further degrees in depravity, citations are made from Proverbs 1:16; and in both verses Paul (Romans 3:15-17) finds a fitting citation for utter depravity.
