7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? Ver. 7. Do not they blaspheme ] That is, cause to be blasphemed, as Romans 2:24 ; 1 Timothy 1:20 . 6. Ye Unlike God. Despised Same (aorist) tense as chosen= chose. While God chose, ye despised. Both refer to the same objects and point of time. The poor Singular number; the poor man in the above picture. Rich men oppress you It is clear from this that it is not Christian rich men the apostle condemns.
