6. Ye Unlike God. Despised Same (aorist) tense as chosen= chose. While God chose, ye despised. Both refer to the same objects and point of time. The poor Singular number; the poor man in the above picture. Rich men oppress you It is clear from this that it is not Christian rich men the apostle condemns.
