HE IS NOT HERE. BUT RISEN (vs.1-12) Though these dear women came to the grave very early in the morning the first day of the week, they were too late. Mary of Bethany had anointed the Lord Jesus before His death, and she had done this in view of His burial (John 12:7). Others perhaps had lesser intelligence, though no less love for Him.
