9. Families of the north An allusion to the conglomerate character of the Babylonish kingdom, blending, as it did, all the peoples in the great basin of the Tigris and Euphrates. And Nebuchadrezzar, etc. Literally, and to Nebuchadrezzar, etc., bringing it after send rather than take, in construction.
