Moses evidently included the account of Lot’s incest for at least two purposes.1. Genesis 19:37. And called his name Moab, the father of the Moabites— This addition, the father of the Moabites, and the same in the next verse, father of the children of Ammon, plainly points out the design of Moses referred to in the beginning of the last note.
