Proverbs 29:25. The fear of man bringeth a snare— He who feareth man shall be driven into a snare [or shall fall]. He who trusteth in the Lord shall be established. "The fear of man bringeth a snare; But whoso putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be safe."We may paraphrase this thus: "Fear man; fall into a trap; fear God; receive eternal life."
