We are now come to the passion-week, the week in which Christ died; and the great occurrences thereof; and have in this chapter,
(1,) His riding in triumph into Jerusalem, Mark 11:1-11 .
(2,) His cursing the barren fig-tree, Mark 11:12-14 .
(3,) His driving those out of the temple that made it a place of traffic, Mark 11:15-19 .
(4,) His discourse with his disciples concerning the power of faith, and the efficacy of prayer, on the occasion of the withering of the fig-tree which he had cursed, Mark 11:20-26 .
(5,) His reply to those who questioned his authority, Mark 11:27-33 . This chapter coincides with Matthew 21:0 .
