Jeremiah 48:28 - Exposition
Dwell in the rook. Jeremiah probably thinks of the rocky defiles of the Amen, so splendidly adapted for fugitives (see Consul Wetzstein's excursus to the third edition of Delitzsch's 'Jesaja;' he speaks of perpendicular walls of rock). Like the dove ( i.e. the wild dove); comp. 'Iliad,' 21:493; ' AE neid,' 5:213.
