(died c.467)Confessor. Archbishop of Armagh. The son of Seseilen, an Irish chieftain, he was converted and baptized by Saint Patrick, to whom he later served as coadjutor in the See of Armagh, being known as Saint Patrick's favorite disciple and right-hand man. He was renowned for his musical talent; and assisted in compiling the "Senchus Mor," or old Irish code of law. He resigned his see some time before his death.
