One of the seven capital sins. It is any unlawful indulgence in the pleasures of sex: in the unmarried, by wilful desire for or satisfaction in venereal pleasure; in the married, by any violation of marital rights, as by adultery, or by any deliberate sex irregularity of thought or deed; the vice of lust or luxury.
