Religious congregation foundecl by Madame Rosalie Jette assisted by Monsignor I. Bourget, at Montreal, Canada in 1848 for the spiritual and corporal assistance to poor or unmarried mothers. The congregation runs hospitals, orphanages, and training schools for nurses, in Canada and the Unitecl States. The mother-house is in Montreal.
