Founded at Dublin, Ireland in 1857, by Margaret Aylward, under the direction of Father John Gowan, C.M., for the care of Catholic orphans. These sisters conduct infants' schools, junior boys' schools, primary schools, an orphanage, and private day schools, all in Ireland.
