Comprises the islands of the Fiji archipelago, located in central Western Polynesia. Established as the Prefecture Apostolic of Fiji on March 27, 1863. Elevated to a Vicariate Apostolic on May 10, 1887, and entrusted to the Marist Fathers. Elevated to the archdiocese of Suva on June 21, 1966.
