ZAANANNIM . The border of the tribe of Naphtali passed through ‘the terebinth in Zaanannim’ ( Joshua 19:33 ), and the camp of Heber the Kenite was at ‘the terebinth in Z. which is by Kedesh’ ( Judges 4:11 ). It is probable that the preposition ‘in’ ( be in Heb.) is part of the name, which should then be read Bezaanannim . The site is unknown. A plausible conjecture is that it was Khirbet Bessum , E. of Mt. Tabor.
