JANOAH. 1. A town in the northern mountains of Naphtali, near Kedesh ( 2 Kings 15:29 ). It is probably the modern Yanûh . 2. A place on the border of Ephraim ( Joshua 16:6-7 ); situated where the present Yânûn now stands, with the supposed tomb of Nun.
