Pekah (pç'kah), open-eyed. 2 Kings 15:25. The son of Remaliah, a captain in Pekahiah's army who conspired against his master, slew him, and reigned over Samaria in his stead for 20 years (758-738 b.c.). His conduct was evil; he maintained the sinful worship set up by Jeroboam I.
