Baccarini, Jacopo an Italian painter, was born at Roggio about the year 1630, and studied under Orazio Talami. He died in the year 1682. Two of his best works are The Repose in Egypt and the Death of St. Alessio, in the Church of San Filippo in Reggio.

John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry.
