Bellamy, Adey an English minister of the Society of Friends, was born at Framlingham, Suffolk Co., in 1739, and in early life made a profession of his faith in Christ. For many years he resided in London, where he was engaged in trade. He first appeared as a minister in the forty-first year of his age, "in which character he was well accepted by his friends."
