Buisseret (Or Busseret), Franwois a Flemish theologian and historian, was born in' 1549 at Mons, in Hainault. .He was successively official, archdeacon, and grand-vicar of Cambray, bishop of Namur in 1602, and archbishop of Cambray in 1614. He died in 1615. He wrote, HIistoire d'une Reliqieuse de Mons Possedee (1585):- Histoire du Concile Provincial de Mons (1586):-La Vie de Sainte-Marie d'Oigine (1608). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry. McClintock entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1832 and graduated with high honors three years later.
