Bundle (צרֹר, tseror'; δέσμη), signifies any thing bound together and tied up for future disposal (Song 1:13; Mt 13:30; Job 14:17). It is also used of a sum of money in a purse (Ge 42:35; Pr 7:20). SEE BAG. The speech of Abigail to David (1Sa 25:29) may be thus rendered: "The life of my master is bound up in the bundle of the living by Jehovah," or written in the book of the living. In Ac 28:3, the original word is πλῆθος, an armful, literally a "multitude," as elsewhere rendered.
