Bundock, Mary an English minister of the :.Society of Friends, was born in Manningtree, Essex, in 1695, and from her youth was religiously inclined. When she was about thirty years old she -felt herself called to the ministry, and continued to labor therein for many years, both at home and abroad, frequently travelling in different parts of the nation in the service of truth. John McClintock was born October 27, 1814 in Philadelphia to Irish immigrants, John and Martha McClintock. He began as a clerk in his father's store, and then became a bookkeeper in the Methodist Book Concern in New York. Here he converted to Methodism and considered joining the ministry.
